4QT Sauté Pan - Sardel

4QT Sauté Pan

116 reviews

Our sauté pan is currently sold out and is available for Pre-Order. Expected shipment date: October 26th.

Our sauté pan has a large surface area and high-extended straight sidewalls, meaning it holds liquid in a way that a skillet, with its slanted slides, can’t. This makes it perfect for certain cooking tasks that require cooking ingredients in a liquid, such as shallow frying and braising, but this pan is also capable of much more. Plus, all of our pans are oven safe. Need to pop a dish in the oven after cooking it on the stovetop? No problem, this sauté pan can do both.

Pan-roasting steak, chicken, or fish

Braising meats or vegetables

Shallow frying, for things like Milanese or chicken cutlets

Stir-frying or sautéing vegetables

It's all in the details

We designed our products using 5 layers of metal: three inner layers of aluminum, called the “core,” and two outer layers of stainless steel. This “5-ply” construction allows for effective heat distribution and durability, including protection against warping.

Our handles are built for comfort, using a rounded, easy-to-grip design. The handles also make for easy cooking, because they stay cool while you cook and distribute weight evenly throughout the pan, so that it’s not too heavy to toss and handle.

Our cookware works on all stovetops, including induction, gas, electric, and glass. All of our stainless steel cookware is also oven-safe, up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Our cookware has curved edges for easy pouring and closed rims to protect them from splitting.

A little bit of soap and water does the trick to clean our pans. For harder-to-clean spots, just boil a small amount of soapy water in the pan, then wipe it away.

Overall size: 22.5” x 12.0” x 2.5” (includes handles)

Cooking surface: 10.5 inches

    Sardel 10 Non-Stick Skillet Review

Bobby Flay made me do it!

I found Sardel through a post on social media by Bobby Flay (whom I’ve been a long time fan of). I had been in need of a new set of pots and pans and just wasn’t ready to make a decision and lay down a boat load of money for a mass produced set that would likely underwhelm me. Well, queue the perfect timing, because Bobby’s post mentioned their amazing Cyber Monday deal so after a quick perusing of their website I jumped on ordering. Reading about the process and the personal touches that go into each piece was what sold me. Shipping was relatively quick and I was over the moon when I opened up the shipping box to find each piece neatly boxed up. I oooed and ahhhed as I opened each shiny new piece! Fast forward two months and I’ve been cooking up a storm with my full set - the quality of these is superb! Each pan holds and evenly distributes heat and the weight and style of the handles makes my cooking that much easier. So happy I found Sardel and have been telling friends and family to check them out! I will be a Sardel customer for life!

    Love Sardel

First, Daniel is wonderful and fun to work with on the phone. I feel like I could be in the same room with him during the conversation. My first order was for the 10” stainless pan. I adore that pan for anything from fish and asparagus to grilled cheese sandwiches. I just ordered the rest of the pans and can’t wait for us to clear out my drawer and give away my others. I love the even heating, the size and the cool handles. Oh, such a relief that these aren’t heavy and the handles are easy to navigate. I do have some All Clad. There’s no comparison in my opinion. These have the same properties but with the positives of cool and much lighter weight handles. These pans are quite beautiful and am looking forward to the Italian olive oil and the olive wood utensils. If the 10” makes me happy, can’t imagine how I’ll feel with the rest!

    It was worth the wait

After doing a lot of research for the best pans to use with an induction cooktop, Sardel came up during my first round of searches. Then I discovered the pans are made in Italy, and that pretty much sold me, knowing the quality Italians put into their products. I also learned that Bobby Flay gave the pans a rave review during one of his cooking shows, so I was excited to try the Sardel pan. It took some time to receive it, but it was worth the wait. I ordered the 4 quart sauté pan with lid. It is now my favorite pan to use, whether it’s searing steaks, or making pasta sauces or vegetable ratatouille. This pan is a work horse and does it all! What distinguishes this pan from others is the even distribution of heat. There are no hotspots with this pan. I always get an even sear and an even cooking experience with this pan. I would expect to pay an arm and a leg for something of this quality, but Sardel is so reasonably priced that I am considering ordering more pans. I also ordered the 10” non-stick pan, which I have not received yet, but will write my review for that pan when I’ve received it!

    Absolutely Love my Sardel stockpot

Transitioning my cookware from nonstick to stainless. Since the virus shutdown we've done more cooking at home with family favorites. The first Sardel dish was homemade vegetable beef soup requiring searing coarsely chopped round steak adding fresh tomatoes, onions and "leftover" cooked veggies saved for the occasion. The searing process was perfect and most importantly the simmering was flawless with temperature maintained consistently with zero sticking. Delicious and easy cleanup. Next try was my favorite shrimp creole with onions and fresh peppers sauteed to perfect tenderness. With 50+ years of cooking I'm looking forward to Sardel playing a big part in my quest for the perfect comfort food! Thank you Sardel!
