Cook Time: 1 hour and 20 minutes

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 ¾ cups sugar

1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt

¼ teaspoon almond extract

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

1 ¼ cups whole milk

3 large eggs

1 ½ tablespoons grated orange zest

¼ cup fresh orange juice

1 ⅓ cups high-quality extra-virgin olive oil

¼ cup Grand Marnier

Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix together in a bowl the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

In a different bowl, mix together the olive oil, almond extract, milk, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, and Grand Marnier. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.

Pour the batter into an oiled 9-inch cake pan and bake for 1 hour, until the top is golden brown.

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with high-quality olive oil and sea salt.
